I am passionate about my job, family, friends, and hobbies. I love my job, my residents are amazing. They ask me everyday what I am going to school for, I tell them nursing. Then they tell me that I will be great at it! That makes me really happy and excited for college and to start me career in nursing. My family and I, we are all really close we always do things together. Whether it is hobbies, just hanging out or family time after church at my grandmas. Every Saturday night after church we would all go to my grandma’s house for dinner and fun! I love getting together with the whole family, it’s a lot of fun and a lot of memories are made. I love how close my family is and I hope it continues. I hope when I have my own family that those traditions carry on. My friends are very important I love them all to death. They all are very important in my life and I hope that we all stay in contact no matter where life takes us. I have some very close family friends and we do A LOT of things together. Such as a couple of my hobbies are camping and boating. I love camping I have been camping my whole life. When I have friends stay the night we always walk around all night, but if I don't have anyone to walk around with then I just sit by the fire and listen to some pretty great, hilarious, embarrassing stories. But it is well worth it to sit there and listen to the stories. Another hobby would be boating I love boating being out in the sun, tubing, skiing, and many more activities that with do on the lake. I love being out there spending the time with my friends and family. It is so enjoyable, because you never know when your last day may be! I love my life and enjoy every minute of it!
The person that I have become has helped me decide whether or not I want to be a nurse. And my answer is YES! I love my job that I have now! I love helping my residents with whatever they need. I hope to keep doing that, but then I think to myself what if I become a teacher, I love kids; then I think why don't I do what I love, living on a farm, I'll just be a farmer. I have talked to many people and I thought that I will go to school and get my BSN and then possibly my teaching degree and I can be a nurse and teach nursing and I think that it would be a lot of fun! I hope then to get married and start a family after I have moved, got a job, and settled down. I hope to have a big family just because I love kids and always will but not only kids but babies and that’s what I want to do when I get my BSN. I want to be a nurse in the labor and delivery or in the NICU. I would like to travel with my family but more after my kids graduate and it would just be my husband and I or at least own a lake house for somewhere to go and have fun. I love going to the lake as it is we drive two hours each way just to go to the lake so to own a house on the lake would be awesome. I would enjoy that so much I would be In Hog heaven. Speaking of hogs I want to own my own farm or inherit the family farm. I love living on it as it is I knew every square yard of it and enjoy living on it but if I take over I will definitely add more animals to the acreage and probably buy more crop land somewhere in the Midwest I'm not sure where at in the Midwest I want to live but I hope I will be able to settle down in Indianola or at least Warren county. I think Indianola school district is a good one to be in.
Prom it will forever be in my memories both my junior and senior year! I loved getting dressed up and getting my hair done even though I don't want it to be an everyday occurrence because I wasn't that comfortable. I had a lot of fun and I am glad I went in the group I did end up going with because we had a large group but it just turned into a bunch of drama so we split into two groups and it was a lot better that was so then everyone was happy. Because Colbi had to go with her boyfriend to take pictures at Jordan creek while I had to wait on Taylor to get off work so it took a while but since my sister couldn't get down to town so I wanted to drive to her house to see her, my nieces, and nephew. So we went to Okoboji bar and grill it was really good I am glad I went there instead of dessert hopping. Because me and a lot of sweets, hurts my stomach so it wouldn't be to pretty. When we got to the dance people where already dancing so we joined right in and got to it. Towards the end they started playing really bad music such as Taylor swift. When herrings came on people left the dance floor songs meaning more than one. I don't like Taylor swift just because I think her voice is annoying, but her songs can be catchy! So then after we left prom we jammed out all the way home to GOOD music and went to after prom. After prom was fun I enjoyed the games. It was a lot better than last years. I played some games and put my name in the drawing and won a John Deere hat. I was so excited I wish I would have won a big prize but I am glad I got what I got! Then I got home at 4:00 I was going to go to I-Hop but I was just to tired to drive!

I have had a lot of childhood memories and they are all my favorite! Every choice I chose made an impact on who I am today. One of the best choices I ever made was joining FFA and going to WLC! I honestly would not be the person I am today without FFA and my FFAmily! I went to WLC June of 2012! I met so many great people learned o much about them not only them but mostly myself and who I am! When I got there I was terrified I had no idea what I was getting myself into. I wasn’t even there for two hours and I called my mom crying because I wanted to go home but she told me that I would be ok and that I was just tired. So that night we had a get together in the dining room where we got to sit with whoever we wanted and of course all of us Indianola people sat together. I had no idea that by the end of the trip we wouldn’t want to leave any of our amazing friends. My roommates where the best I still keep in touch with them today. I miss them like you wouldn’t believe. And by the end of the trip ya we saw Indianola kids and I grew closer with them every time but I never knew I would honestly be a changed person when I got back home. Before I went there I was shy and the type of person that was always like talk to me don't touch me, leave me alone if you want me I'll be in the corner of there.  It took me a while to realize that WLC actually put an impact on my life and changed who I am. It is probably one of the best experiences of a life time. I went home thinking now that was stupid and a waste of y money but in all reality it wasn't it was the best choice ever. Noting joining FFA oh buddy where to begin! FFA has shaped me as a person and has pushed me to go further and further in life because of my amazing adviser Mrs. Brown. She saw my potential that they don't and hits them like a ton of bricks until they realize that they have it and can do it! My freshman and sophomore year all of my ag friends all the time told me to join FFA but I never did until my junior year because I had no idea what it was and because I was really busy but I totally regret it because if I was in FFA my freshman year then that means that I could have gone even further and become an officer, district officer or state officer. I have told every freshman that they made the right choice in joining and I regret it because I never did!
